Declare your allegiance and join hundreds of thousands of mighty heroes on the battlefields of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.

Recently, this game hit the markets about 2 - 3 weeks ago. Many fans of the Warhammer game series were qued up to buy their copy of this game. Only to find out that they also had to either have a credit card OR to spend an additional $AUD40 on a game time card that lasts for 60 days, just so that they could play the game that comes with 30 days of game time included.

FIIIRRRREEEEEE!!!!!!!

I must say, the concept of this game has huge and beyond massive potential, but the first let down was the graphics. Whilst playing this game, I had found more and more flaws in how the graphics were rendered and how the animations randomly froze from time to time. Even using a GeForce 9600GT with 1GB of dedicated graphics, the game looked like it was a directX 7 game.

However, what lacked in the graphics of this game, the game play was much more then what I had expected.

Utilizing the PQ or Public Questing System, this game has, you go on small raids that have objectives that need to be completed. Anyone can join in and help, and those who contribute the most to the PQ are almost guaranteed a lovely little loot bag at the end. Many quests within this game are easy, however, some fights just need the extra help of a DPS or a Tanker just so that you don’t die of boredom during the battle.

In the early stages of the Greenskin, a PQ involves a massive troll, a lot of beer and a very angry little Dwarf who picks a fight with the wrong Orc.

This game is both very interesting and addictive, but needs a little improvement on the whole graphics side of things.

I would recommend this game to social online gamers, so they bring their friends to help them with PQs and more. This game probably isn’t the best for stand alone and hard core gamers unless they are into World of Warcraft or other online MMORPG that boast many little men with Axes and tall skinny elves.

All in all, this is a good game that has massive potential. I will rate this game as 8 out of 10. Would be a 9 with better graphics, but it has got some kick ass gameplay!
